At first glance there doesn't seem to be much difference due to the contrasty look of the movie.

There is noticeable extra detail on the HD version though.

Heh, well originally I made that one to upload trailers to, as PR people were sending us trailers, and then I did a comparison video between DVD, upscaled DVD using some now defunct piece of software, and blu-ray.

Then forgot about it.

Went back a few months ago and saw the comparison video had more than a few hundred views and lots of comments, so thought I'd do some more.

This is me finally getting around to doing some more.
