BTTF boxset - How do you tell it`s a reframed version?

Reckless (Competent) posted this on Saturday, 4th October 2003, 14:27

Just came back from the shops with what looked like bit of a bargain: £14.99 for the BTTF Trilogy from Woolworths :) I had delayed so long for this (after the framing saga). I asked the assistant if she knew if this was a fixed version and she couldn`t say anything other than it was new in to them.

So, does anyone know how I`d identify if the set is a reframed version or not (it`s not unwrapped yet). And another thing.... would this be a bad constrast reframed #3 or not?! The only product code on the box is : DVD 903 027 9 . 11

I`m not that keen to fight it out with Universal so I`d take it back to the shop as I`m not desperate to watch the films just yet..

Thanks in advance!

Edit: Although I did search my terms didn`t quite match!! I`ve just seen this!! Bah, it`s probably not then :(

As far as I know, all the Trilogies on sale are the faulty sets.

I tried to get a trilogy from my local Woolies but couldn`t find any! :(

I was going to buy the BTTF DVD set yesterday but didn`t want to because you can`t tell if it is flawed. I think it`s best to wait until they release a set and tell you that it isn`t the faulty one.
