QVC amazon fire 7" tablet deal

bandicoot (Elite) posted this on Thursday, 8th December 2016, 15:47

I jumped at one of these yesterday for my Xmas....they were selling real fast.

Watch out for the QVC deal on at the moment, comes up on the 'electronic gizmos' hour in the show.....

Amazon fire 7" tablet, with the front cover casing and with a 32GB card, giving a total of 48GB.

Price is £49.92 + £5.95 P&P, so thats a bargain £55.87 for the above.

Comes with a lot of free books, films, music and apps, plus has wifi, etc.

Seems QVC had 20,000 to sell, hence the good price. only available in black when I was watching. It should be up again on their channel.

Thats exactly what I thought as i was trawling through my freeview box, and came across the deal at 10.30PM at night, and got dialing QVC there and then.

Seems there are a lot of shopping channels on freeview.

Got it by post yesterday (very quich delivery) and now testing it out.

Very similar finger controls as the I-pad, and seems well made.

Its good for the internet via the wi-fi connection, and taking photos and reading books, playing music etc.

Downside is that Amazon are on your back trying you to buy from them through this tablet, from the shop, from Amazon prime (who wants Clarkson and co?) , alos to buy apps, games, music, and even has rolling adverts when charging, Grrrh!

Even kindle are trying it on for subscription, but did get a load of free si-fi books as an introduction, that will keep me happy all next year reading.

You do get quite a lot of initial free stuff with the package, so that will do me at the moment, and will download off my computer free stuff onto the tablet.

As you can see, I am not one for buying extra stuff.

Fire tablet is awesome (I have an 8.9" version), you can turn off the ads but it might cost you.

Yeh, I am liking it, its my first tablet. Seems to charge far quicker to 100% than wifes I-pad, but there again, does run down quicker. Must be less batter power in it.

They had similar deal on QVC last night, tablet plus cover plus 32Gb card, but was back up to over £60 plus £5 P&P (only difference was coloured tablets, red and blue available), but they did say the cheaper deal I got in Black, will be back during the Xmas period,
