Hi guys, reading this thread and there is a lot of support for PR over FPTP elections. Now, I'm not particularly au fair with it all, but is PR like the vote we had in the referendum where if you got 75% of the vote, you would get 75 out off 100 seats in the commons, and the same with the rest?

I saw the performance in Brighton on Friday. Brilliant!! It was great to see the people I`ve been listening to all these years. If you can go, do it, you won`t be disappointed.
Need some advice please.
I`m thinking of ditching sky movies, and the HD pack on sky. I love watching movies but the price seems alot. I`ve been looking at either lovefilms instant, or netflix. Can anyone tell me the cheapest way of receiving either of those services. I don`t have a playstation, and don`t really want a blu-ray player, so it maybe, perhaps a media player. Also, if anyone has had a go with either service, which is best? Thanks in advance for your advice. Adam

although some cyclists are idiots, it`s always the same anti cyclist rhetoric that comes up, and i`m not a cyclist myself. OK, a lot of what jimbo says is right, but what about drink drivers, drug drivers, tired drivers, red light jumping drivers, wrong way up one way street drivers, parking on pavement drivers, speeding drivers, tail gating drivers, driving too fast for the condition drivers, knocking cyclist off bikes drivers, sneeking past cyclist almost knocking them off drivers, parking in disabled bay drivers, parking on double yellow drivers, and the list could be a lot, lot longer, so the odd cyclist who jumps up onto the pavement to dodge a red light, but does no harm, and i admit if someone is on the pavement it could be dangerous, is really a bit of jealously as they are off and we are waiting. How many people were killed because of cyclists or cyclists killed as a direct result of their actions, very few, it`s the driver of the car in the vast majority of cases, not giving enough room overtaking, or turning left over a cycle lane, not seeing the cyclist. i could go on, but i`ve writer`s cramp. Just my two penarth.

From the seventies, a guy had a watch, or something similar, that made him invisible for a brief time, but if he went over the time he would be invisible for ever. Thought it was Ben Murphy, but don`t think it was now I`ve looked on imdb. Any thoughts anyone?

apparently last year $8.3 billion dollars was the cost of ACTUAL piracy to the global economy, this is where people are killed and ACTUAL stuff is stolen. If the government put as much effort into catching these ACTUAL pirates as they do in trying to stop a few downloads, you know, perspective and all, then the world would be a safer place for real people to go. Perhaps if the Somalians in the boats were trying to sell DVDs of avatar rather than kidnap innocents then something would be done.
