That`s what happened wit my wife. She spent a £10 in a local shop. The next day the police called to tell her it was a fake and where did she get it. It had come from the ATM at Lloyds/TSB.

Same as you Mark. I suggest he go to the doc. Can`t do any harm. For years I had athlete`s Foot. Tried all the creams. Eventually went to the doc. Turned out I was type 2 diabetic. Doc gave me meds and the foot stuff went away.

Priests To Be Issued with Guns

I have a friend who is from Nigeria, he is also a catholic priest. He`s on holiday at the moment here in Scotland. On Saturday evening he came to visit with me. During the course of the conversation the subject of attacks on catholic churches came up.
He told me that the government is going to offer priest firearms training and supply them with a gun. I asked if he was getting one and he is. He told me that the Muslim fundamentalists took a friend of his, another priest. Gouged his eyes out, threw him back into his car setting it alight and burning him to death.

He said if they tried to attack him, his family, his parishioners or his church he would use the gun on them. It`s terrible that men of the church are having to take up arms to defend themselves.

Eric Joyce MP

Eric Joyce is my local MP and has his office in my town. I want to send him a letter / e mail expressing how I feel about him. I have to be careful that I don`t write anything that can get me into trouble. This is what I have come up with so far, any suggestions?

Dear Mr Joyce. Is this the end of your parliamentary carer? I think so. I have voted for you in the past even after your greed with expenses and your drink driving convictions. Reducing yourself to the level of a drunk bully is the last straw for me. You have lost mine and quite a few of my friends vote. What a waste you turned out to be.

I Just Won

I entered a competition in the Sunday Post and won a Canon IXUS 220 HS Camera worth £199. + an 8gb SD card. The camera has a HD video with stereo sound. Other things I do not understand yet. I`m very chuffed.

I am watching a debate on TV. Why can`t a politician give a simple yes or no to a question. Is it so hard to tell the truth?

Rob, where can you get a proper eye patch. I have tried chemists and e bay? I am almost blind in my left eye due to cataracts. I had my right eye done in September but I cant get glasses till the left is done. I think a patch would help me.

I never shop for Christmas, not that I am lazy it`s just the Mrs does it better. I ask my daughter to go shopping for her mother`s present (it`s a woman thing) and she always gets it right. However the best present for me is looking at my granddaughters face when she opens her present.
