anyone make up a world in their head?

Recently I have been having really lucid dreams which I have taught myself to go back into and start where I left off. It`s my perfect world.

Anyone else have another world they escape to? Or am I just crazy?

RE: Question for the "I only use the general forum" regulars

RE: Going to the chapel and I am gonna to get married :)

Jimbo, it totally is i don`t think your too suspicious. She even commented about cheating in her first post that she now has deleted, I think she should be disqualified.

I`ve lost track of days thought it was 1st today - gained a day :), still few days left.

RE: Going to the chapel and I am gonna to get married :)

Thank you for the the congratulations Alan Titherington :) --- feeling so much more real now, scary! :)

RE: Are wraps different (better) than bread?

Wraps still have carbohydrates in so would have thought still give that bloating feeling but need to eat more of it :/- but really no idea. Be interested to know.

When i cut back on bread I feel so much better at first. But i think i have a wheat Intolerance - but I LOVE BREAD TOO :D, so can't live without it for long.

a little bit of everything in moderation is good :D

RE: Going to the chapel and I am gonna to get married :)

Thank you for the congrats JamesW and advice :)

... and the Mrs used a wedding planner because she could get a lot of stuff reduced because of her industry ties..

That sounds like a good idea but wouldn't the money saved just be paying her wages anyway?

I agree Jimbo, need to put lots of likes on last minute to put them in a false sense of security. I`ll remind you :)

We cheated a little by asking anyone who wanted to give a present to donate something to the wedding instead

Donate is a good word, i wanted people to buy tickets or just pay for their own meal but people seem to frown at this idea :(. I was going to have chiense style theme where people put money in red pockets. But gone with debehanams gift list and card now.

Trying to remember mum`s facebook password coz telling her what to do will only confuse her lol.

I'm tempted just to get people passwords and do it myself, even ICT friends i know seem confused by how you can like the comment . Luckily had all my families passwords so by passed trying to confuse them too :)

...I cared more about the ceremony and the vows than what everyone thought of the do we put on...

I felt like this to begin with but now as it's only one day in your life and i have all the people i love coming I want it to be really special for them too. So the little budget we have it getting stretched and negotiating everything down tot he penny :)

RE: Going to the chapel and I am gonna to get married :)

BIG thank you Dr42%er for FB help :). Damn that Jenny Beale who is running away on 37 now.

We spent just over £1000 on our wedding, and that included a long weekend away and a meal for all the close family the day after we got married too.

£1000 for whole wedding including trip away is impressive. I thought our £5000 so far was good going after all those wedding magazines i've been reading. So easy to get carried away. Meeting with cake maker in next few weeks so will see if i can cut £250 quote down otherwise asda or the M&S cake it is!

Also, I make cards and things, so if you need any help with invites or place settings or what have you, send me a message

Aw, thanks, if only i knew this before doh. Just finished my invite, blue ribbon and white card, (and place cards included in venue). I've crossed traditional with a bit of "us" in it so happy with them. Need to get them all printed and packed in envelopes quickly now but my printer has chosen not to work bah :( .

RE: Going to the chapel and I am gonna to get married :)

Fluff_n_stuff_1 , YEAH that sounds great. I was recommended to get one from M&S didn`t realise they sold them in asda too. Just quoted £250 for a 3 tier cake at "mate rates" - shocked to say the least :o .

RE: Legality of a parking fine in a supermarket car park

Good luck! hope it all gets sorted soon.

I got a ticket in asda isle of dogs car park a while back. I was just told to send a copy of receipt from asda to address on ticket then I didn`t hear anything more luckily.

Where in the country are you...?

RE: Going to the chapel and I am gonna to get married :)

Hey Jimbo :oÞ Thank you for the congrats message :) . It`s the Danielle Minton comment above the ... "Bespoke Toppers: Good going so far Danielle..." comment. On 31 so far. It`s bit complicated as you have to like the bespoke page at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Bespoke-Toppers/160829280649856 before you can like my comment

My only advoce would be not to let your family hijack the guest list,

ahh, having that problem now! We are keeping it small so can`t invite some family. I would love to invite them all but we are trying to keep costs down so have to make sacrifices somewhere. Mums not happy . Can`t please everyone :( .

Me and hubby have both liked your comment

YAY! THANK YOU :). I think i have 32 now (as have one like on different comment) so winning by 1 woop :). Cheers ! :D

Going to the chapel and I am gonna to get married :)

Hello everyone :)

Getting married on October 4th woop :x . Trying to keep it cheap and wondering if any one has any links or recommendations of what to do or not to do.

Trying to combine traditional church wedding with modern and keeping a sense of us in the mix.

We have booked venue which includes the DJ, florist, drinks, food. Now we have to do everything else. Currently looking for wedding dress and designing invitations on computer. Any positive thoughts be great to hear.

Ooo and P.S if you are on facebook: I have a chance of winning a cake topper so pleeeeeeeeease help by liking my (Danielle M) first comment on this note ---> http://www.facebook.com/notes/bespoke-toppers/-competition-/161448987254552 (closing date 2nd July) - THANK YOU :D

RE: What are the best beer deals at the moment?

I`ve been using http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk for my weekly shop recently. It`s quick way to compare Tescos, Asda, Sainsburys, ocado prices. saved £20 one week just buying my list from asda instead of tesco.

is it just me or is that link not working?

RE: For Gods sake.... census campaign launched

My job next month will be census collecting ... Gareth Williams kindly reminded me of this movie quote "A census taker once tried to test me I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti ..." :(

RE: 40 years young today!

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY ! :)

TAKE ME OUT - is really sexist

How is this program allowed to be aired on TV? With all the political correctness about these days...!? Shouldn`t men get a go? (on a second note how about gays/ lesbians?). HOW?!
