    Synopsis:
Thought-provoking drama starring Kevin Bacon as Walter, a convicted paedophile who has served his sentence for his previous crimes and is determined not to relapse. Taking a job in a lumber yard, he starts a relationship with a local woman and, although he lives in fear of his past crimes being discovered, begins to rebuild his life as best he can. When a suspicious policeman starts harassing him, and when he finds a house across the road from a school, it seems as if his urges are not buried as deep as he had thought.

I was hoping for a truly magnificent movie, which reviewers called "Bacon`s best", but, alas, found out this is a slow drama that sort of goes nowhere.
Bacon portrays a character of a convicted sex offender, trying to return to life as he knows them after serving a 12-year sentence.
Alas, it`s not easy at all. Bacon`s performance isn`t that impressive either. It`s ok, but nothing more.
The video transfer is good. There are no compression signs and the colors are deep and saturated.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is somehow flat. The surrounds are hardly used, but that`s acceptable for this kind of a movie.
The menus are static with sound.
The disc offers no extras at all.
Bottom line - with an average story and a bare disc to match it, this one goes under "rent once and forget you ever saw it".
