But his circle of friends doesn`t know the other Patrick Bateman, the one who lusts for more than status and material things.

With a detective (Willem Dafoe) hot on his trail and temptation everywhere, Patrick Bateman can`t fight his terrible urges that take him on the pursuit of women, greed and the ultimate crime-murder!

Oh, come on! There`s a thin line between an ingenious work and a piece of trash. This movie definitely deserves the latter attribute.
As if the original novel was not bad enough, this movie is quite literally the most un-coherent piece of crap to hit the silver screen in recent years.
Well yeah, the mixture of sanity and insanity is intriguing, but where the HELL is the plot?
The video transfer is ok. There is not too much gore. There are no compression signs either.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is ordinary, but rarely uses the surrounds.
The menus are still and simple to navigate.
The extras include an interview with the lead actor and a short behind the scenes look. Nothing unusual here.
The movie was called "a sexy thriller". Well, it is neither sexy (unless you find the idea of slaughtering your date a sexy idea) nor is it thrilling at any stage. Avoid.

I found this film complete and utter crap. If you want violence try a Ray Winstone classic.

    Another American shoddy effort.
