A rich college kid is taught a lesson after a joy ride ends up destroying a country restaurant
    Certificate: PG-13
    Running Time: 96 mins
    Retail Price: $24.99
    Release Date:

    Synopsis:
Kelley Morse (Chris Klein) is a snobby rich kid, who would never normally associate with the small-town residents living near his posh prep school. This all changes when, taking his new Mercedes out for a spin, and `slumming it` with his friends in the local diner, Chris clashes with local boy Jasper (Josh Hartnett). The two go head-to-head in a drag race, which inevitably ends in disaster as they crash into a gas pump and burn down the gas station and diner, owned by the parents of Jasper`s girlfriend, Samantha (Leelee Sobieski). As punishment, the boys are sentenced to a summer rebuilding the diner, but tensions rise as Samantha and Kelley find it increasingly difficult to deny their growing attraction to one another. Meanwhile, Samantha has some news that will change everything forever.

A bitter-sweet romantic drama featuring Klein and Sobieski, who actually manage to give a certain amount of depth to their rolls.
The video transfer is good. There aren`t any compression signs no scratches and the colors` saturation is just right.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is good. The surrounds are used occasionally, but this movie is mostly about dialogs. Certainly not the movie to show off your new speakers.
The menus are animated with sound.
The extras include a music video. That`s all.
Bottom line - an ok drama, but the almost bare disc makes this title a "rent once and forget" recommendation.
