    Synopsis:
Set in small-town Alaska, `Limbo` is the story of Joe Gastineau (David Strathairn), a fisherman traumatised by an accident at sea years before. Into Joe`s landlocked life comes Donna de Angelo, a nightclub singer with a habit of picking rotten male companions, and her troubled teenage daughter Noelle, who`s filled with a self-loathing and tired of her mother`s relationships.

When Joe captains his ship on a mysterious sea voyage, the lives of the three characters are changed forever.

Against a backdrop of a vast, challenging wilderness, `Limbo` tells the dramatic story of three people who come together to face their own demons and learn the very nature of risk.
