    Your Opinions and Comments

River Phoenix was a fantastic actor and a unique person. Next to "Stand By Me" and "Running On Empty", this has got to be his best performance. Lili Taylor also gives a superb performance.
The movie is best viewed with no preliminary knowledge as to its content. It`s about a dogfight. Period.
The video transfer is good. There are no compression signs and the color palette fits the 60`s atmosphere like a glove.
The DD 2.0 soundtrack is also good. While there`s little action in the surrounds (excluding a couple of scenes), the dialog is always clear and the music sure sounds great.
The menus are still with music.
The extras include a commentary by the director ad the producer. Too bad that`s it.
Bottom line - with a truly moving story, a wonderful cast and the 60`s atmosphere, don`t let the almost bare disc prevent you from watching this fine piece of cinema. Recommended.
