Synopsis:
After 25 years, Colonel Hyde`s unblemished army service career was abruptly ended by enforced "retirement". He resented his country`s ingratitude. Before bidding farewell however, he spent some time in the Records Department and left armed with some very useful information. It was over a year later that his plan was ready. He had to be totally satisfied that nothing had been overlooked in his preparations for Operation Golden Fleece, a bank robbery. After consulting his Army Records notes, seven names were selected and sent an invitation to lunch, and the League of Gentlemen came into being.
