    Release Date:

One of the most lavish and bizarre erotic shockers ever made, Jess Franco`s Justine concerns two orphaned sisters, Justine (Romina Power) and Juliette (Maria Rohm), who are cast out of their convent home when their father is killed. Thrust into an uncaring world, Juliette retreats to a brothel and begins a love affair with lesbian Claudine (Rosemary Dexter), while Justine takes up employment as a maid at an inn.

After being framed for stealing the jewels of a wealthy guest, Justine finds herself caught up with Madame Dubois (Mercedes McCambridge), a lesbian murderess on the run, along with her sex-crazed companions and a gay aristocrat, the Marquis de Bressac (Horst Frank). A series of bizarre sexual encounters ensues, involving perverted cult members, bondage, branding and a supremely sadistic monk (Jack Palance), all relayed through the writings of the incarcerated Marquis De Sade himself (Klaus Kinski).
