A nice movie, although it lacks the glamor of the big studios as far as the animation is concerned.
The plot is set placed in the USA of the late 1950`s and the atmosphere is just right.
The characters are all believable and most of the casting for the vocals is very good.
The video transfer is good. There are no compression marks at all. Nevertheless, the movie cannot be compared to masterpieces ("The Prince Of Egypt", for example), since they are simply too far apart, quality-wise.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is satisfying. The usage of the surrounds is done nicely, but I think the sub is not used frequently enough.
My version of the movie included the original English soundtrack and Hebrew and Italian dubbing as well. All of them were really nice.
The menus are animated with sounds.
The extras include a nice behind the scenes featurette and a weird music video.
All in all, a nice (and touching) story, who mostly kids would appreciate.

    Fantastic!

Ok, I know its really a kids movie, but its all there - Storyline, Plot, Music, Humor.

I love cartoons and have seen loads, but this must be one of the best for a long while. Aside from the main movie, theres also a `Making of` feature, Theatrical trailer and a music video. It all fits together perfectly - definately one to buy!
