This is an incredibly action-packed movie, with big names (Ford, Oldman and Close) and a big airplane (Air Force One).
The video transfer is very good. There are no compression signs and the picture is mostly grain-free. The colors are very well balanced and the action scenes which include both live shots and CG are pretty seamless.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is explosive. It`s been a while since I`ve heard so many shots (and on board an aircraft, too). The surrounds are used very effectively, but the sound never gets too overwhelming.
The menus are animated with sound.
The extras include a commentary by the director and some of the crew, a very short behind the scenes featurette and some trivia facts about Air Force One.
Bottom line - a good pop corn movie with very nice visuals and sound. Enjoy.

This is a very good movie. It starts off when the President of the United States (Harrison Ford) helps Russia capture a deadly criminal. On his way back to the USA he travels in his plane Air Force One. Not too long after take off, communist terrorists and their leader (Gary Oldman) grab their weapons and begin to kill people. When they take over the Presidential jet completley and are left with 50 people, they demand that their country`s dictator be released in exchange for the people that they are holding aboard the aircraft. After a few `no` answers from the US and Russia, they start to kill the hostages and from that point on the movie is filled with a lot of action and Harrison Ford is great in this movie especially in the fight scenes. The DVD is very good and is much better than the original version. This one has an audio commentary with Driector Wolfgang Petersen and a featurette and the original Trailer. There is also trivia facts which pop up at certain points when you watch the movie. Overall this disc is great. Any fan of Harrison Ford should buy it because it is a great action thriller.
