    Synopsis:
A boring business man gets taken on the ride of his life after a chance encounter with a free-spirited woman. Charles (Daniels) has his usual lunch in a diner on a day that will turn out to be anything but usual when he meets Lulu (Griffith) who takes him to a seedy motel for an afternoon of fun! When Charles is handcuffed to the bed and not allowed to go back to work he realises he has met someone that could release him from his normal humdrum and single life.

Soon Lulu and Charles are on the road and speeding to her home town to attend a high school reunion and meet her mother. But when Lulu bumps into her ex-husband - menacingly played by RAY LIOTTA (Hannibal, Goodfellas) - the two are put into terrible danger.

Lulu has definitely given him more excitement in a few short hours than he has had in his seemingly long life, but should Charles risk his life for a woman he has only just met?

Directed by acclaimed film maker Demme (The Silence of the Lambs, Philadelphia) and nominated for three Golden Globes, SOMETHING WILD is more than just a road movie, it is both funny and touching with a good few thrills and spills thrown in!
