Synopsis:
Oscar® winning* superstar Nicolas Cage (Con Air) and screen icon John Travolta (Pulp Fiction) battle head to head in FACE/OFF... the ultimate cat and mouse thriller directed by the world`s most acclaimed action film director, John Woo!

To avenge the senseless murder of his son, FBI agent Sean Archer (Travolta) undergoes radical new surgery allowing him to switch faces with the comatose terrorist Castor Troy (Cage) and assume his identity. But when Castor awakes and assumes Sean`s identity, the real Sean is thrust into an unimaginable nightmare, fighting not only for his life but also those of his wife (Joan Allen) and daughter!

Brilliant performances and mind numbing visual effects make FACE/OFF the explosive action thriller you`ve got to see to believe.

i must be have been watching a different film cos all i saw was an utterly ridiculous load of rubbish. and yes i know that this is `just a film`. crouching tigger has people flowing through the air and that works. the difference being that CTHD is a great film in which people ACT.

john travolta is right up there in the acting stakes with vinny jones. they dont act, they just are. he is feeble. the only surprise is that nicholas cage is dragged down to his level. this is a perfect example of just how bad films can be. go and get a decent action movie instead or if you really need some john woo then get his hong kong stuff. its just as ridiculous but at least it does contain some acting. hateful hateful hateful
