    Your Opinions and Comments

    7 / 10
I was hoping for a hip espionage sort of a movie, since I was told it is such.
However, what I got is a bunch of flashback stories that don`t really belong together and that were tied up pretty lousily eventually.
The video transfer is good. The transfer shows no compression signs nor grain. Different palettes have been used for the different stories (with the Vietnamese one looking very "authentic").
The DTS and DD 5.1 soundtracks are both very good. The soundtrack is explosive and the surrounds are used very nicely throughout the movie.
The menus are all animated with sound.
The extras include 2 commentaries, a behind the scene look (that can only be accessed while watching the movie in the "interactive" mode - how annoying!), 5 deleted scenes, 4 extended scenes (including an alternate ending), some storyboards (gee, I could draw better than that when I was in kindergarten), some production notes, DVD-ROM features (photos, videos, wallpapers, etc. ) and some key points for getting into the CIA. Right... .
Bottom line - while I did enjoy this movie, it is far from being an espionage thriller. It`s more of a compilation of several stories, which are only loosely connected.
