Synopsis:
Six strangers awaken from their daily lives to find themselves trapped in a surreal prison - a seemingly endless maze of interlocking cubical chambers armed with lethal booby traps. None of these people knows why or how they were imprisoned... But it soon emerges that each of them has a skill that could contribute to their escape.

Who created this diabolical maze, and why? There are unanswered questions on every side, whilst personality conflicts and struggles for power emerge as the tension rises.

But one thing is crystal clear: unless they can learn to co-operate to work out the secrets of this deadly trap, none of them has very long to live...

In a word the Cube was "Crap",the concept was good but it just failed in every area, unlike some I get very worried when I see a movie with no known cast,it spanks of "cheap"and this was( I suspect a budget of 7 or 8 pounds would have covered) overacting, poor script, poor direction and playing on the fact that there is a huge s/fiction fan club out there.....ie anything will do, WRONG,dont bother...............ever!!!.

I actually really liked this film. Its very script driven, exploring some interesting ideas, and doesn`t feel a need to explain everything, in fact leaving a lot unexplained. The transfer is admirable considering the low budget. Its not without its faults, although these are usually very minor. All in all I film I am happy I have bought.

A very interesting film. Cube poses a lot of questions and remains delightfully ambiguous. The plot is engaging, the acting sufficient and the direction alright. All Sci Fi fans should see it and make up their own minds. You will be entertained and you will ponder the questions it raises.

Original, and slightly odd film. This wasn't really my thing… but its an enjoyable flic, especially if you're a sci-fi fan. The video and audio are ok (nothing brilliant though)… and we get a director's commentary and a trailer in the way of extras.

Overall, worth a rent if you're a fan of the genre… although I'm not entirely sure that this film actually fits into one particular genre!
