    Synopsis:
School`s out and fun`s in! Hot young stars team up with comic favourites Chevy Chase, Chris Elliott and Jean Smart for this kids-in-charge, adults-in-meltdown comedy.
An unexpected overnight snowfall has made roads impassable. And that means a no-school, no-rules snow day! For fifteen-year-old Hal (Mark Webber), it`s a chance to win the heart of popular Claire (Emmanuelle Chriqui) - or totally embarrass himself. For ten-year-old Natalie (Zena Grey), it`s a chance to create something even better than a snow day: a second snow day! But to do that, she must stop Snowplowman (Elliott), the town`s relentless, road-clearing fiend. Better watch out, Snowplowman. Because anything can happen on a snow day... and in this hilarious comedy, just about everything does!

A real kiddies flick. There is nothing here really for adults. So far it hasnt snowed at all in syracuse but one magical day, there is heavy snowfall creating a snow day, a day where all schools and major businesses shut and everyone has fun.
Hal tries to woo the girl of his dreams, His younger sister wants to stop the evil snowploughman from ploughing all the snow. His dad wants to become the top weatherman in the area cos he is always the bottom in a league of 3. His mom is too business oriented and has little time for fun. See how snow day affects all these people and changes their lives forever.

Video and sound are lacklustre, this was very much a low key and low budget production from nickelodean/paramount.The video isnt as sharp and clear as can be and the sound is kinda dull.

Surprisingly there are some decent extras for this otherwise low budget film. There are some interesting cast and crew interviews where they talk about making the movie and their own experiences with snow. There is a behind the scenes featurette. I didnt really listen to the commentary or watch this other snow day scoop featurette but can imagine that they are average and nothing special.

This is kids movie and not that interesting or appealing either.
Disc is average, picture and sound averageness is made up for by some pretty decent extras. I would definetly say rent this for the kids before you even consider buying it
