    Synopsis:
In an Oscar®-winning performance, Robin Williams* (`The Birdcage`, `Dead Poets Society`) stars with hot young newcomer Matt Damon (`The Rainmaker`, `Courage Under Fire`) in the motion picture of the year!

The most brilliant mind at America`s top university isn`t a professor... he`s the guy who cleans its floors, Will Hunting (Damon in an Oscar®-nominated role). But Will is also a headstrong, penniless guy failing the lessons of life and love with his wealthy girlfriend (Oscar®-nominee Minnie Driver†). Facing a jail sentence after one too many run-ins with the law, Will`s fate lies in the hands of his therapist (Williams), who might be the only man able to help him see his true potential.

Also starring Ben Affleck (`Chasing Amy`, `Armageddon`), who co-wrote this Oscar®-winning original screenplay with Damon, `Good Will Hunting` is the inspiring, emotionally charged film that has everyone talking!

    Your Opinions and Comments

    7 / 10
What a unbelievably overrated movie. It is long, b-o-r-i-n-g and goes absolutely nowhere. I really don`t understand the hype surrounding this movie, not to mention the Oscar winning.
The video transfer is a disappointing 4:3 one (just for that I`ve deducted a point from the video mark). While there are no compressions sings, the transfer reveals several dust particles and scratches. Some of the scenes are very poorly panned and scanned, thus vital information does not appear in the frame (or is partially cut).
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is ok. For this kind of a drama, the occasional usage of the surrounds is adequate.
The menus are still with music.
The extras include 2 behind the scenes looks and a music video.
Bottom line - even if you are not familiar with the hype this movie made, it is rather disappointing. Watch it if you must, but don`t expect it to be that great after all.
