Synopsis:
As a city fan in a school full of Manchester United supporters, life is far from easy for teenager Jimmy Grumble. Bullied at school by Gorgeous Gordon Burley, Jimmy also struggles at home as his single mother Donna takes up with the Harley-riding loser Two Dogs.

Jimmy still wishes that things would work out between his mum and her ex-boyfriend Harry, the only drawback being that Harry`s married to someone else. On top of all this, a new girl at school called Sara renders Jimmy tongue-tied, threatening all chances of a romance and adding even further misery to his life. Then he meets an old bag lady in a condemned building who gives him a pair of magic boots.

I loved this film, especially the football scenes which were the most realistic and exciting that I have seen. This is the first football film that I have seen where you actually feel like you are watching real football! Some of the skills are amazing, they must have searched very hard to find actors who were also excellent footballers - either that or they must have had a very good football trainer.

Definetly one to watch!
