Extremely dated and not as half as good as I thought.
The video transfer is average, but considering the movies age (over 60 years old), it`s ok. While there are no compression signs, the movie looks very grainy. The animations, as can be expected, are rather simple. I found several scenes that included nudity to be of VERY bad taste (unless you get your kicks by watching naked angel boys playing with themselves - pun intended).
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is not good. While the classical music itself is nice, the surrounds only give out a slightly quieter version of the front speakers. However, the audio stream IS DD 5.1 and not stereo as the written here.
    The menus are all still.
The extras include a single deleted scene (notice the scratches and dust particle in this scene - it has not been restored).
Bottom line - a rather disappointing experience Fantasia turned out to be. Worth watching only for the famous "Sorcerer`s apprentice" scene. The rest is simply boring.
