    Synopsis:
Contains four of Arnie`s blockbuster movies.

    Total Recall
It`s 2084AD and Douglas Quaid (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is haunted by recurring dreams about a journey to Mars. A visit to a vacation parlour unlocks erased memories in Quaid`s mind. Quaid discovers that he is, in fact, a top intelligence agent on Mars which is now under the harsh rule of the treacherous tyrant Vilas Cohaagan.

Quaid`s memory has been erased to suppress his knowledge of Cohaagan`s plans. Quaid outwits the Secret Police and makes his way to Mars where he is reunited with his former lover Melina. Together they must stop Cohaagan`s dibolical plan and unlock the mysteries within the planet`s core.

    Raw Deal
Three FBI agents are guarding a key witness whose testimony will end the Chicago crime organisation, led by Luigi Patrovita (Sam Wanamaker). When the witness and the bodyguards are brutally murdered in an early morning raid, FBI agent Harry Shannon (Darren McGavin) seeks out the services of former agent Mark Kaminsky (Arnold Schwarzenegger).

Kaminsky, forced to leave the Bureau due to his excessive violence and brutality, is asked to assume a second identity with the intention of infiltrating the Patrovita organisation and destroying it from the inside. Informed that the reward for a successful mission is reinstatement with the FBI, Kaminsky agrees to undertake the task.

    Red Heat
Captain Ivan Danko nicknamed "Iron Jaw" is a ruthless cop who heads Moscow`s homicide division. He is sent to Chicago to pick up a Russian drug-dealer, arrested on a minor traffic violation. In Chicago, Danko is assigned to partner with Detective Art Ridzik (James Belushi), a wise-cracking, plain clothesman notorious for cutting corners.

Different people from different cultures, Danko and Ridzik work closely together and develop a unique relationship laced with honour and respect. The chase leads them into a world of international drug trafficing controlled from within the walls of Stateville Prison and puts Ridzik in conflict with his superior, Commander Donnelly, as the two renegade cops alternate police procedure "Russian Style" with Ridzik`s free-enterprising techniques.

    Red Sonja
The peaceful life of Sonja is shattered when her parents are murdered by Queen Gedren, who rules by terror and carries a talisman with which she can annihilate the planet. Sonja sets out to avenge her parents` death and is granted extraordinary powers by a mysterious vision.

But she must vow never to fall in love with a man unless he is stronger than her. On her way to find Queen Gedren, she meets Kalidor (Arnie) - a stranger gifted with unusal strength.

This is a truly mixed bag of movies.the worst is the bonus disc red sonja the picture is good though the movie is a turkey with brigette nielsen proving why she is now out of work.good for unintentional laughs.red heat i first saw at the cinema.boy this has dated neither exciting or funny this is a relic of the late 80s.arnie seems more of a robot in this than he did as a terminator.raw deal is a good action movie with a less than impressive ending.total recall is easily the best of the set.raw deal has a good picture better than castles pan and scan.recall has best picture and sound.but one classic one average and two stinkers leave one feeling a lack of momentum.

I am becoming weary of these so called "Special Edition box sets" - why? Just like the Predator box set, all you get is a fancy silver box containing the four films, two makings of (Recall, Red Heat) photo gallery (Red Sonja) plus the usuall trailers..thats it! We want more !
Red Sonja is a complete turkey...the picture quality is barely adequate and the sound is MONO!
Raw Deal was a film i`d not seen, and i enjoyed it...but probably wont watch it again. Picture quality is reasonable and presented in 2.0 stereo sound
Red Heat is another turkey....enjoyable to watch the once but not a second/third time...the picture qualty is good and finally, 5.1 Surround sound although you might not think it listening to the sound!
Total Recall, one of the best films Arnie did, is presented in glorious 5.1 sound and demands watching this at full volume..the sound staging is excellent. Picture quality is good also.
I cannot reccomend anyone buying this...three mediocre films with one good one...just dont bother and just get Recall on its own! I wish i hadnt wasted my money on it.
