    Synopsis:
From widely acclaimed director John Carpenter comes the classic Assault on Precinct 13, a taut, well-made, excellently acted, police suspense thriller.

A young policeman is put in charge if a nearly deserted L.A. police station, in the process of moving to another location, that finds itself under siege by an interracial gang of cut-throats and escaped convicts. Darwin Joston is impressive as a heroic convict, so is Stoker as the unflappable cop.

Assualt On Precinct 13 is quite simply one of the best Films I`ve seen, being a John Carpenter fan I have to agree this is one of his best and would appeal to nearly all audiences. The DVD on the other hand isn`t so good, the only extra it has is a grainy trailer and the film isn`t shown in widescreen either. We are tortured with the awful "pan and scan" method. Although on saying that it`s still a great film and worth £17.99.
