    Synopsis:
Based on a gothic horror tale from Edgar Allen Poe, The Oblong Box centres on two strange siblings: Sir Edward Markham (Alister Williamson) and his brother Julian (Vincent Price, House on Haunted Hill, Witchfinder General). After a tribe of savages inflict terrible injuries on Sir Edward with a voodoo curse, he returns to Julian's manor to recover. Unfortunately, when he arrives, Edward is immediately chained and imprisoned to keep him away from prying eyes. Escaping an attempt to bury him alive in an oblong box, he begins a throat-slashing killing spree against those who have done him wrong with the help of an itinerant witchdoctor, a pair of conniving lawyers and the bodysnatching Dr Neuhartt (Christopher Lee, The Wicker Man, The Devil Rides Out). But will the list of victims include his treacherous brother? The Oblong Box marks the first on screen pairing of Horror maestro's Price and Lee!
