    Inline Image
With the cinema increasingly dominated by huge big blockbuster mammoth money burning and grabbing effects filled monsters, we rejoice in Artificial Eye's forthcoming release set in Paris during the early 1970s.

Something in the Air is written and directed by the acclaimed Olivier Assayas, this stars Clément Métayer, Lola Créton and Felix Armand. Turning on up 26th August, extras will include a making-of featurette, interview with the director and trailer.

The recommended retail price will be £15.99 for the DVD version and £19.99 for the Blu-ray. Running time is approximately 122 minutes and it carries a 15 certificate.

    Synopsis and trailer follow...

After the May ‘68 protests, Gilles, a young Parisian student, is taken in by the political and creative turmoil of the times. Through a haze of wild parties, social activism and romantic encounters, he and his friends partake in some of the most defining moments of the post-war period.

But as the weight of reality pushes down on them, issues of personal responsibility and the nature of idealism will cause them to question their actions and future plans.
