Hugely enjoyable and it made me think!

For those that enjoy reading about the stories of Commissario Brunetti form the Venice Questore, his is another hugely enjoyable story with the usual ingredients. Senorina Elletra (the computer hacker), the Vice- Questore who avoids criticism and work, Brunetti's well read  and well connected family.

But there was a difference. Light moments turned much darker and left me questioning my responses. I'll say no more, other than I was challenged. Well done Donna Leon, your excellent series has increassed my admiration for your writing.

I recommend this book highly.
