Samaritan's Exclusive Sale of Celebrity Football Tournament Tickets
Pre-sale tickets available for star-studded event in aid of Samaritans
The build-up to Samaritans' fundraising event of the year starts today as a very limited number of pre-sale tickets are released for this year's Celebrity Soccer Six on Sunday 24th May, taking place at Chelsea Football Club's home ground.
With less than seven weeks to go until the event, this year's celebrity footballers are already in training. JLS, The Hoosiers, The View, Babyshambles, Ben Adams, X Factor's Austin Drage and NDUBZ are the first names to be released with many more big names to be announced.
Claire Duncan, from Samaritans, said: "This is the fifth year running that we have been selected as Celebrity Soccer Six's charity of the year. In these tough economic times Samaritans' service is more vital than ever, as we receive an increasing number of calls related to unemployment and financial worries.We are hoping for a sell-out event at Stamford Bridgeto enable us to raise funds to keep our emotional support service running 24 hours a day. "
Mark Abery, Soccer Six founder, continued: "Soccer Six is a wonderful day for everyone involved and this year promises to be the best yet. We have a knock-out list of celebrities lined up for the bank holiday battle including some past Chelsea legends. This is Soccer Six's spiritual home and we're all very excited to be back. To mark this historic occasion we'll be inviting back all our previous champions and biggest names to compete for this year's title"
