As I originally had the (UK) film on VHS I was disappointed to find the 'Directors Cut' had nothing new to offer except a 5 second extension on the final sword fight sequence after falling through the roof. Picture quality is marginally better than my VHS. Overall if you have it on video - don't bother. If you don't - don't pay more than I did (£10)!

Highlander is a great film one of my favorites. I believe we should review the film not how many extra features the disc has got. I agree that now it look slightly dated, but the idea of the film was unique and forward thinking. I enjoyed the film because of the superb acting of Sean Connery, and how Christoper Lambert portrayed McCloud as a Highlander.
The Queen soundtrack is very good.
