‘Writing that influences’. What does that mean? Perhaps there is no single, exact meaning. Influence comes in many forms, and can be either intended or unintended.

Clearly, if you look at the contents of this anthology, it means different things to different people. The theme for this edition is taken from the title of the 4th Annual Collaborative Writing Workshop that was held in Brighton in May this year (2010), ‘Writing that influences: making waves for development’.
