Bran should be back, but the casting calls were for characters that have yet to appear on the show.

Just finished Series 5 last night.

Just as you thought he'd survived at the end of Ep 9, he, erm, doesn't.  No more Jon Snuuuuuuuw.Ep 9 up there with blockbuster films effects-wise.  Amazing stuff.
Ep9 & 10 - I'm sure I've forgotten some but how many 'main' characters died there? SPOILER:
Jon Snow, Stannis (presumably), his wife, his daughter, young Stark girl, Meryn.Overall, not quite as consistent as Season 4 for me - but really picked it up.  Struggled a bit (like Bandi) remembering who was who.
