Now a question....

I am a bit lost why the young Arya Stark girl who is now with the house of black and white, is following the group who is visiting the iron bank.

Was there a past history with her and one of these guys, as I cannot remember?

Ser Meryn has been on her personal bedtime hitlist since series 2. He was one of the last people she seen with Syrio Forel, her dance/sword trainer.

Some of those scenes in this week's episode moved me far more than any show ever has. I was genuinely unprepared for it.

Just catching up on the last two episodes, 8 & 9...

My god, what bandi said, the living dead battle was almost LOTR in scale, for a TV series!!! I guess John Snow's sword has dragon glass in it or something?

Figured the little girl was going to be killed because of the Woman in Red, and glad they didn't play on that visually.

And the dragon scene was great, though when they were surrounded I did keep thinking she should call 0800-DRAGON, but funny to see all the other characters react to it.

Also episode 9 is usually where one major cast member, or sometimes four or five get murdered. Pretty much every significant character made it through in tact. :o
Only one episode to go. :(

Johns sword is made from Valerian steel, which now turns out to be the fabled? dragon steel, presumably it was originally forged in dragon fire. like the dragon glass.

I'm trying to remember who else owns them.

SPOILER:
John has the sword from LC Mormons. Neds huge Valerian sword Ice was melted down into two , Joffrey got one but Tommen must own that now and Jaime gave Brienne the other one.
There's also the Valerian dagger that was used to try and kill Bran during the first season.

Are there any more?
