Didn't like this one at all. Struggled to get interested in it. In fact it's the first time I've ever just switched off Who and done something else.yep... utter tripe, didn't even watch 10 minutes of it!
Maybe we should all have got a mind wipe for this episode
Have to agree it was very poor, with a few rooms and crawl spaces, plus a papermashe bug eyed monster, that was as frightening as a teletubby.
SPOILER:
Sure I saw a similar ending somewhere with two monsters in love walking away into the sunset
I'm finding Capaldi a great doctor, but I think he'll need a season to bed in. Not because of him, but for the writers to get used to writing for him as the doctor, and not a toned down Malcolm Tucker.

Definitely the poorest episode, obvious storyline, forgettable characters and poor writing.
I'm struggling to really enjoy this season, so much so that we don't watch it live on Saturday mornings it seems the heart has gone out of it. I read somewhere where it was stated that The Doctors\PC's interpretation of this incarnation is not yet set in stone attempt by the production team to head off by it's critics.
Rankings thus far...
Listen
Deep Breath
Time Heist
Robots
Into The Dalek
Ohhh two monsters at the end of the episode...Last years "Hide".

RE: [VIDEO] Doctor Who 2014
I assumed I was being a bit thick and had missed something really important and vital to my understanding of this weeks bank robbery one...turns out I hadn't, I just didn't think it was particularly good.
I'm enjoying the series as a whole though, although I'm certainly no whovian and certainly not interested in the technical bits and bobs, just enjoy watching it!
I've decided that the opening credits are probably quite good, and Capaldi is too, but I still miss Matt Smith! I avoid all tv gossip programmes or magazines like the plague (like to be surprised by what's coming up in the soaps lol) so I'm a bit sad to hear you guys say we're going to be having a new companion, I really like the current one (amy pond annoyed me, and i think i didn't watch most of the series when it was catherine tate because i find her so infuriating!)
I'm not a big fan of Catherine Tate the comedian, but Catherine Tate as the actress was far better in the role than many gave her the credit for.

RE: [VIDEO] Doctor Who 2014
Funny, but Dr Who is generally supposed to be about the sci-fi and the action, but that pretty much took up 5 minutes of total screen time and the rest was devoted to character development and just bloody good acting. Amazing episode (tiny reference to Ms Song included), and next week's look pretty good too.
I'm going to miss Clara :(

I must admit i really enjoyed it and had a smile on my face the whole episode, the character development as previously stated while a bit rushed was very well done and I enjoyed the doctor being so protective almost paternal towards Clara and the humour in the series is right up my street.
