This was on Dave the other night, is bound to be repeated lots, I only really know him from Qi where I find him v funny and haven't seem is stand up before, but thought this was very good.

he's a few years older than me, but some of his observational humour from his childhood, rang some forgotten bells with me, thought it was v funny, well worth a watch.

He's been doing stand up from way back.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.
Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary

yeh, I knew he used to do it years ago, but had never seen him do it as he took a break from stand up.

He has a new show starting on Dave soon, Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled. It sounds like it's gonna be a group of comedians having unscripted chats.

I'll keep my eyes open for Life is Pain, thanks.

The life is pain dvd is only £3:64 at Amazon atm, I just ordered one. It says "only six left". Think the price is a mistake

I've just seen it at £3.55, so the price doesn't look like a mistake.  Most competitors have it around the £4-£5 price range.

we enjoyed the first series, thought it worked quite well, different anecdotes from the guests, without them trying to outdo each other.
