Episode 3 getting really good.

I though the 'explorer' was 'Dr Bashir out of Deep space 9', could be wrong though.

Continuing to be impressed (episode 4) even by the quality of the acting in the minor roles.
Must admit I do like the theme tune as well.

Second series confirmed as well.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.
Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary

I can see why there will be a second series, as its really getting good now.

I wonder if the doctor would have to travel thru time to be able to act in them both? given how Tennant and Smith banged on about the time it took up to play him?

Well episode 10 and that was a bloody good ride.
Anyone know when series two is scheduled to appear?

That was a fantastic season, really nice to see us do a series as good as the yanks, my only small gripe was that he cardinal was not evil enough for me......

I thought Peter Capaldi nailed it pretty well as the Cardinal but you may get your wish as I suspect he'll be busy Doctoring when series 2 is filmed.

Was made jointly with BBC America so was intended to show over there at the start.

I thought Capaldi was awsome, I just think the Cardinal was much more a patriot in this and genuinely believed that everything he was doing was for france than the one I was brought up with who did everything for his own dastardly means

If you've seen the final episode does anyone else think the final fight sequence was  different, as in better. Seemed more tightly framed and edited to me.

Yes, it had a lot more of 'the 300 Sparta style' about it, as in speeding up and slowing down in places.

SPOILER:

Thought the cardinal got off lightly in the end, from the Queens decision.

Also (typically) the woman assassin got away for another day.

Other than that, looking forward to next season.
