The first episode is out and holy moly, I'd forgotten how gorgeous the production design is on this show.

Really looking forward to seeing how this season progresses and how all the different plot lines come together.

Just finished season 3...

SPOILER:
What an awful final episode. Dracula just goes away? Apparently the final episode ever, which makes sense as without Eva Green the series would be a lot less interesting.

Felt it was a really good season until Ethan's American trip was over, then it went downhill for me. :/

Yup, it felt like they got the cancellation news with three episodes left to shoot.

John Logan is claiming that this was his grand plan all along, but I just refuse to believe it.

SPOILER:
The final battle was utterly ludicrous, with Dracula inexplicably fighting the others while Ethan wandered off upstairs.
It was a shame because there were so many individually great moments, in particular:

Lily begging Victor not to take the memory of her daughter
But overall it was a terrible conclusion with far too many plot threads left hanging or tied up all too hastily.

A really disappointing end for one of my favourite shows :(
