Probably all already know this, but 24 is coming back as a mini-series.
Latest news is the actress who plays Chloe is going to be there with Kiefer:

The shorter season has got me interested, but if I hear the word "mole" even once, I`m not watching another minute.
Some interesting info:

Here`s what Fox Entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly said at the TCAs :
"This is going to be set in an international setting. They`ve got great ideas, I love doing it this way. I have been really heartened by the amount of equity left in the show, I`m stopped by fans all the time, thanking me for bringing it back. Chloe will be central to Jack Bauer`s new story, they have a really powerful arc for her in the next chapter. I`m pretty sure that will be it for returning cast, but there are several new characters joining."

And here are interesting bits of an interview Howard Gordon did at the TCAs a few days ago :
"We`ll keep it a 24 hour story but we`ll tell 7-8, 8:15-9:15, 10-11 and then skip 3 hours if we need to. I think it`s going to actually make us not have to do the pretzel logic of some of the stuff. It`s still early, we`re still full of hope, but I`m sure in about 3 weeks, I’ll be under the table crying."
About returning supporting players : "We literally just started so we don’t have the story locked down, we’re sort of exploring who’s out there and retrofitting people who are interesting."
Given that 24 season 9 picks up 4 years after Day 8, "there`s enough time for a new president. Even then, you have to ask how don`t you take the fact that we`ve been through 6 presidents (Palmer, Keeler, Logan, Palmer Jr, Daniels, Taylor) ? When you`ve taken the archetypes of the presidents, how do you do something new? That’s the trick. How do you keep telling the story that`s being told forward and not double back on yourself?"

--The show takes place over a 24 hour day even though it is 12 episodes
- It's set in London
- The script for LAD is different than for the 24 movie
- Sutherland says that Chloe and Jack have been allies but at the beginning of LAD they're pitted against each other
-William Devane will be part of "24: Live Another Day." James Heller is the president now.
-A CIA agent, played by Yvonne Strahovski, is hunting Jack Bauer in London
- Every 24 episode will be in real-time, but might skip a few hours in between episodes.
Some set photos: (so weird seeing Jack Bauer in London)

Also, Stephen Fry has been cast as the British Prime Minister.
First two episodes were decent enough. I like Yvonne Strahovski's character despite the avalanche of cliches that surrounds her. Nice to see John Boyega as well.
I'm in for more :)
Seems to airing (legit) tonight at 1.00am to coincide with the USA.
Sky one.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.
Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary
