Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan star as the title characters, Dr. William Howell Masters and Virginia Johnson, two researchers in the nature of human sexual response.
This is supposedly one the best new pilots of 2013 and given the subject matter, I can see this being rather popular.

Channel 4 have acquired the rights. Air date yet to be announced.

The first episode was released early on Showtime's on-demand service and it is really, really good (and not just because of the boobies).
I have a feeling this will be much talked about in a few weeks when it begins on channel 4.

Renewed for a second season.
Four episodes in and it's instantly one of the best things on TV.

The quality of this is lousy but you might find it interesting if you like Michael Sheen

Yes, thought it was great. As good as he was, she was every bit as good as him. A really great character. Two great leads with a top supporting cast too.

Glad I wasn't the only one who watched it :)
I did miss Annaleigh Ashford (who plays Betty) in the later episodes, but apparently she will be back in season 2 and will be featured more prominently.
