Won't read much of this thread, because I've just recently started on...

...season 1!

I did like Timothy Olyphant in Deadwood, and he seems to have taken the same walk into this series.

Just seen the episode (think it's s1e6) where he meets the guy who collects Hitler paintings. Liked how that ended. :)

Anyway, really enjoying the nice mix of humour and drama. This will keep me going till other series start up again.

Great show. Not sure where they`re going with it next though.

Season 5 starts tonight in the US.

I've not even started Season 4 yet!

I've got season 4 on the V+ box to watch still. btw new Gangstagrass CD is out end of this month.

FX have announced that Justified will end after the sixth season next year.

As much as I love this, Boardwalk Empire and The Newsroom, it's so refreshing to see shows being ended properly rather than abruptly cancelled.

I can only hope that Hannibal is able to run as long as this.

I'd missed it had started back up last week, will have to get involved.

One of my favourite still running shows.

Agree that I much prefer shows to not outstay their welcome and have proper defined endings (think Sons of Anarchy although having that in place, has actually overshot itself).

Has Boardwalk been confirmed to be on it's final season? (I'm only part into the last season at moment and need to catch up).

Just finished the end of Season 5, another enjoyable season. And I love how it ended, clearly laid down what season 6 will be about.

Agree with both of you about not overstaying their welcome.

I'm hoping Hannibal ends after the next season. One of the disappointments about the first season for me, that the second rectified was...

SPOILER:
Hannibal not being a wanted man by the end of it. I enjoyed how season 2 started with a clear intent that he would be known as the killer by the end. And that leaves season 3 for him to be on the run, just hope they don't string that out for an additional season.
