Quite a bit is filmed in High River down the road from us like Heartland (horse based\\\\family orientated programming) Superman & Smallville, Unforgiven, Brokeback Mountain.
Heh nice. Do you recognise any of it? I guess location wise there isn`t too much that is distinct.

I`ve spent some time in Alburqurque and New Mexico, and every now and again I remember Breaking Bad is filmed there, like when they visit the airport and I go, oh wait a minute I recognise that! But mostly (the mountains aside) it all looks hard to pin down.

Never watched Heartland (fortunately), Smallville or Brokeback Mountain.

Superman & Unforgiven, I`d have to watch again in order to pick out landmarks.

We have mountain terrain, prairie`s, coulees & hoodo`s, the foothills at times is a bit like driving through parts of the west country.

Very good news.

Not really on topic, but the town of High River was hit very badly by floodwaters in June, with houses condemned, massively devalued or rendered unmortgageable as a result.  A lot of people have lost everything & been resettled to a hastily created "trailer park" on the edge of town. The historic town centre looked worse than any TV or Film could portray.

There is concern that despite Govt Aid (in various forms of helping, no clear direction & not communicating) the place could become a ghost town.

Good double first episode.

Just seen the final episode of this latest Season 3, all a bit meh really. Parts of it sounded like they were trying to turn this new town into something more permanent and Deadwood-esque.

But it just lacks enough great characters. I don't even think the actors are to blame, the script and direction just seems very predictable atm. :/

Aye it is underway, and so far it is way better than season 3. In fact so far I'd say this is the best it's been.

This next bit is definitely a spoiler, because it hasn't even happened so far yet... read at your own risk.

SPOILER:
No sign of Elam (played by Common) yet, but he's rumoured to have survived and will be making an appearance.
