I remember watching that X-Games one, was amazing, to see the 900 and the support from his friends, colleagues, and competitors.

I've fixed the link to the medium article.

Another interesting thing about the 900, and even 1080 is some of the smaller, lighter, younger kids can do them more easily, but if they do, they do it right at the beginning of the run in a competition, but then haven't go the mass or strength to gain momentum to do anything else! It's quite strange seeing them do a couple of big airs, then they have to do lip tricks rest of their run!

There's not many pro-skaters yet who do x amount of hours in the gym every day as well as cardio, before being allowed to practice the actual sport :)

Not that I was any good, but I used to skate street, rather than ramp. The few times I did go on a mini ramp or half pipe at Southsea Skatepark, I'd be too scared to drop in, so would just pump working up from the bottom, would be knackered by the time I got to the coping! Actually I remember dropping in on the small mini at Southsea once, and did a manual (wheelie) all the way down, that put me off. Stood at the top of the big half pipe, stood at the bottom, never did the journey from one to the other, they're much bigger in real life than they look on tv!
