...and I really do thing Johnathan Pearce should recieve a pat on the back and his severance pay. Never though much of him as a commentator and his reaction to the France goal, despite Martin Keown explaining it to him reaches new levels of 'thick'.

Alan Smith is the best co-commentator imho. Though Tony Adams criticising the selection of a central defensive pairing that aren't both over 30 was a mistake.
