Rather than hijack the LFC forum and continue intruding on private grief I thought I'd move this bit across.

Hopefully they won't collapse near the end of the season and can attract one.
Striker that is.

...and much as I love Szchesney. A top level goalkeeper. I think he and Ospina are worthy of top 6 or 8 teams across Europe but we need better. In fact I'd make that the priority.

A happy St Totteringhams day to one and all for yesterday.
It's happened again.
Twenty years straight.

I hope he hasn't as rumour has it that Santi my be going back to Spain as a last move in his career. I hope it's not true but I wouldn't bear him any ill will if he did.
Haven't seen anything apart from the goals on a very small pop up screen and a sublime accurate cross field back heel from Ozil on a vine on my mobile.

Discussions on 5Live post match on who we need to challenge and they had it down to Petr Cech and a defensive midfielder. Up in the air whether Mourinho could/would let him go to direct rival.
Knowing Arsene though we'll probably end up buying another couple of small tricky midfielders. If only you could win the league with a team of them alone.

Could well be a few leaving anyway Arteta, Flamini, Rosciky and possibly even Mertesacker. Not to mention all the loanees. I doubt we'll see Jenkinson back now Hector's doing so well and then there's Campbell, Miyaichi and
Sanogo-or-stay.

Maybe we need a defensive midfielder as a backup to Coquelin, or at the least on the bench to throw on when we want to shore up a game. Probably another centre back, three isn't enough.

Attacking midfielders we have loads, what we really need is another Alexis class forward. Without that it won't matter how many goals we keep out, and how many chances on goal we have, in the games that matter we need someone who you can rely on to put that one chance in the net.

So it looks like we're fighting for fourth again.
Just from the opposite direction.

Let's hope we have a Hull performance against Utd and not a Swansea one and you just know the last game versus a Pulis side is never going to be easy.

One is quite happy with a one one when one only needs one more point to ensure third.

I only saw the first half, they were terrible. Guess they got their act together second half.
