I'd like to see zero negotiations with Walcott. Just a straight
'There's the offer yes or no.'
He needs us more than we need him.

Arsenes sense of humour:
During a discussion at a club dinner over the reasons for Walcott's long drawn out negotiations last time and his supposed desire to play down the middle. Arsene quietly started singing Abba's Money, Money, Money.

Walk in the park, never in doubt.
Also no doubt if we play with that level of effort and endeavour against Chelsea next week they'll rip us a new one.

As happy as I am to be in the final I do feel for Federici.
That error will haunt him for the rest of his life and will regularly get replayed every time there's a cup semi on TV.

Still better it happens to them than us eh?

Yes, I think you'd have to be heartless to not feel for him. But as Alan Shearer said after the game, semi finals are quickly forgotten, especially if Arsenal win the final.

I was worried it would go to penalties, I think once we got to extra time and Reading were clearly playing for that, I stopped worrying about being knocked before that.

I don't feel remotely confident about the final if we play with Schzezny in goal though! If that performance is what you deliver when you are fighting for your place, he'll never get it back from Ospina.

Thought Ozil was very influential in that game, and worked very hard. Gibbs was way below his average (I say that instead of best, because he's usually always at his best even when coming back from injury), and Debuchy looked a liability.

I don't think the team shape suited Welbeck, but Giroud was really good when he came on, as was Gabriel.

Coquelin was epic as always, I think we should stop talking about him as being a possible new Viera, and just talk about him being the new Viera. He makes so many interceptions and tackles, never leaves the defence to fend for themselves, and puts in some choice long balls and passes on top.

Anyway, now we can just focus on the league and hope Chelsea slip up (unlikely, I thought if Utd can't beat them with their current run of form, nobody can) and look forward to another exciting final!

I think your being a touch hard on Szchesney as it was the deflection off Gibbs right in front of him that gave the goal away.
So two full backs in after a lay off (in one case a long one).
Possibly a little disrespectful of Reading?

Chelsea wont be slipping up. At least not to the level needed to lose the league. We need to be happy they took 3 points off Utd and try to shift the Mourinho Hoo Do in time for next season.

Not just for the goal, there was a shot he could have caught but punched away, I think he took a risky dribble round a defender and made a few poor throw outs when he should have waited. Anyway...

Feel more confident about Villa than Liverpool in the final. Despite the latter's inconsistent form, if they actually got their act together they are a much harder team to beat.

I don't think Sherwood can play any other way than going for it which should mean an open game which would suit us.
Feeling rather pleased with that result as the nice Irish Bookie has boosted my balance somewhat.

Brilliant match.
Real edge of seat stuff.

Kind of expected really.

Bus. Parked. Chelsea.

Well we knew that was going to happen. Shame Welbeck or Ozil couldn't tap that cross in. But Arsenal played some very attractive football there, and survived a few penalty shouts.

I don't think any of them were stonewall penalties, certainly some of them you could argue were ones that could easily have been given and then immediately described as soft. But then I may be incredibly biased for hating Chelsea, their racist captain and Mr Tactical Victory.

The AGM for that group would fill Wembley and then some.

Piers Morgan apparently referred to Ramsey once as a liability, and when he bumped into Ramsey recently, the Welshman refused to shake his hand.

As if we couldn't love Rambo anymore, suddenly we find we can. ;)
