Hudl 2

Snaps (Elite) posted this on Wednesday, 29th April 2015, 12:55

These have been flagged up recently on Hot UK deals as reconditioned they are available for £79.00 which seems like a good deal as most are unblemished and some just returned gifts with the packaging opened.

I keep seeing comments in reviews though stating if your not a Tesco customer you wont get the full benefit.
Anybody have one or any idea what's meant by that statement?

Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary

They must mean the Tesco bloatware, shopping apps, blinkbox and the like.

You can easily get rid of that crap though for a very decent tablet.

also it you have tesco points rewards, you can get double the face value so £25 of vouchers will be £50 off the price of a Hudl 2

Does anyone use a tablet of any screen size to subscribe to and read online magazines and how easy do you find it on differing screen sizes?

Aye, I have an 8.9" Kindle Fire HD and I find it great for on-line magazines.  I rarely have to increase the font size either as the screen size is just right, not sure how good it would look on smaller screens though...

Thanks for that. The Hudl is about the same size as the Kindle, 0.6 smaller, so should be okay.
Just have to make up my mind if I really need/want one and I can be bothered un installing all the Tesco guff rather than a couple of quid extra for a different brand.

Not sure how much Tesco stuff you're expecting snaps but there's very little really. Go and play with one in a shop?
Whereas the Kindle tablet is essentially an Amazon shop window and doesn't really look or behave like an android tablet at all.
Hudl2 very well specced for the price. Don't go cheap - you'll regret it. Samsung s 8.4 fantastic tablet and screen. Great size (as already said, more comfortable than smaller 7" screens) - but more expensive.

We will pay the price but we will not count the cost..

Find my 10" iPad is as small as I'd want to go. I think a retina display is probably the most important thing to look for, seeing pixels is a major issue with reading.

Interesting. Just realised while stressing out over screen size for reading I've been about half an hour now interneting and replying to two post on here without strain or problems.
All that on a Z1 compact.
