Page 1 of Can't sign into ebay?

Sister messaged me earlier worried her ebay account might have been compromised. Had a look myself and although the front page and searching functions seem fine, actually trying to sign in comes up with a blank page message

My sister gets this

Same here. I get the same page.

Bit of research later and it seems a lot of people are in the same boat, with many demanding refunds and compensation as they can't sell their stuff

That page comes up when there is a long delay getting into a webpage.

This also happened to me today trying to get into Ebay, and also you cannot get on Ebay as a guest (which you always could), it prompts you to sign in.

I never sign in unless I am going to buy something, as its dangerous to leave it ready to buy, as one of my sons or daughter would notice, and just buy something on my card 

Okay. Back up and running. bit slow and erratic though.

Yes it is working now, something serious must have happened.

Glad I was NOT in the bidding process at the time
