Samsung launches first Tizen phone

I had never heard of Tizen before, but looks like a viable alternative to Android. as the article suggests I can see why Samsung may want to be less reliant on Android, but could be  big risk if they can't get the apps for it. Mayeb they think they have a loyal enough fan base now, like Apple, to buy Samsung without looking at alternatives?

Misread that.  Thought it said Tizer, which is more of an alternative to Irn-Bru.

Was only discussing the merits of Tizer with our local mobile chippy the other week!  He can get Cream Soda, Dandelion & Burdock, and Vimto... have challenged him to stock Tizer... the silly teenager who works for him went what is that?
