RE: Amy Winehouse 2016 Documentary
I did have this on my Lovefilm list but noticed they were showing it on tv. It's supposed to be pretty good.
RE: Amy Winehouse 2016 Documentary
Yes, I do want to see this one.
By the way, one of the best BBC video/Documentaries of Amy was 'The day she came to Dingle (early days 2006), its worth seeing, I have it on DVD.....
It used to be here...

RE: Amy Winehouse 2016 Documentary
It as an excellent film, with lots of private video and phone vid extracts over her lifetime.
Very sad background, considering her parents broke up and gave very little support, and her boyfriends and eventual husband were right into drugs and drink. No wonder she stood no chance the life she was leading, and died through the abuse.
The music through was great, heard a few songs I had never heard, and when it reached 'Back to black album' in the recording studio, it was so emotional, seeing her full of life, soon extinguished. Shame!
I have heard of a few songs simply lovely with such depth of soul, sad to see her go sad no one could help her.😞
Sadly missed. But her music lives on.
Would recommend the DVD called...
I told you I was trouble. Amy Winehouse Live in london. (2007).
Includes her music and a documentary called 'I told you I was trouble'.
Thank you very much
