Have just been listening to their new anthology Keepsakes. Having been a fan since the early days this is a reminder of how great a band they were (and hopefully will be if they, do as stated, work together again). All the hits are there from Flowers in Our Hair up to their recent release Let Me Go Home (which just failed to make the top 40). Two new songs were written for this which are pretty good and also two remakes of earlier tunes which I`m not too sure about ( I suppose you get used to the originals). Two and a half hours of music and a DVD with 21 videos and performances (also includes the infamous TOTP debacle as an Easter egg). Go and treat yourself.
Really liked Martha`s Harbour and remember clearly the TOTP debacle. Bought the album but not overly impressed by it...

Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, turn...
And those who dance will spin and turn,
And those who wait will wait no more,
And those who talk will hear the words,
And those who see will fade and die,
And those who laugh will surely fall,
And those who know will always feel their backs against the thin wall...
Thanks for reminding me .
I`d forgotten that I ordered this from CDWOW - so just been to check my emails and found it`s delayed and they won`t have it in stock till 27th :(
Got mine from Play.
Well worth it for the Dvd alone.
I had a time-out voucher to use at cdwow, so can`t really complain when it cost less than a fiver. I just want to get it now :( I remember seeing them play at the Albert Hall many years ago :)
Saw them a few times.
Ahh the days when one had long hair.
Sorry let me correct that.
Ah the days when i actually had some hair!. :o
Was never a great fan but Marty Wilson-Piper from the magnificent `The Church` did some stuff with them....a wonderful bu underated guitarist who played beautiful 12 string...
